ALERT - AWARENESS - ALERT

During times of natural disasters within the United States special attention must be directed to making sure that the drinking, cooking and bathing water is clean and not contaminated with dangerous impurities. Debris, decaying animals, chemical spills and overfills can all contaminate the streams, lakes, creeks, waterways and more that supply the life giving water that is used without question and thinking it's ok to use.

The sad events that have been occuring throughout the United States should be a stern wake up call that clean water is not just a luxury but a necessity and right. With each event from floods to tornados to hurricanes and earthquakes the water we use is being jepordized. It is not bad enough that we must face man made hazzards and pollution but we must take steps to push for clean water after disasters.

One key is testing the water by using approved labratories and by coming together to help clear the waterways that supply drinking and cooking water. From simple trash and debris clean-up to full scale filtration and decontamination efforts, the message is simple, without clean water people will become sick and even possibly die.

This is no means a doomsday situation, it is able to be controlled and fixed. Proper awareness and clean-up efforts are needed and not putting this on "the back burner". This is not rocket science. It's straight forward and clear cut. Help those who need help and get involved in your community.

The effects of poor water is clear, illness, death, lifelong ailments and diseases. Our friends and family deserve clean and SAFE drinking, cooking and bathing water.
